The electrical systems within milking parlours are becoming more and more complex. This installation was carried out using SWA cable on trays to a minimum IP54 rating.
Commercial poultry farms Read More
The boom in the price of eggs led to several poultry farms being built in our catchment area. Solar PV system Read More
Lotus Electrical Services Ltd was contracted to design and construct a solution for a solar PV system at a dwelling house near Dumfries. We had no option of roof mounting due to the client’s energy requirements. Therefore, we designed a garden utility building that optimised the PV system efficiency whilst remaining a usable building. We also gave advice on woodland replanting to offset the construction work’s carbon footprint. The PV system chosen was 2.35kW, southwest facing and should generate 1770kWh per year.
